A SUPERIOR CUT AND A SMOOTHER RIDE

 

For a better ride and great results, the pivoting front axle permits 5.5 inches of travel on each side so that the front wheels can follow uneven terrain. The front axle can also be placed in a locked position if you prefer. Plus, the mower deck is mounted to the front axle instead of the frame, allowing the deck to float over different ground contours for a clean professional cut without scalping.

HIGH-VOLUME DECK AND DISCHARGE

 

G5000 Series mowers can deliver an excellent cut even in tall grass thanks to a deep-tunnel deck—5.5-inches deep on the left side and 8.0-inches deep on the right side—that accommodates a high volume of discharged clippings. What’s more, a huge 149-square-inch discharge opening—twice as large as the industry standard—prevents clippings from bunching or clumping.

THE SMALLEST DETAILS MAKE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE

 

In order to mow the grass that gets pushed over by the mower itself, the cutting blades are set back approximately 4.0-inches from the front edge of the mower deck, which gives the grass time to stand back up and get cut. To prevent streaking, each blade is overlapped 1.5-inches.

The steering arms can be easily adjusted to accommodate operators of all sizes. You’ll also enjoy the convenience of fingertip cutting-height adjustment. Plus, you can mow significantly more in less time with large mowing decks that feature three blades and a 54-, 60- or 66-inch cutting width.
